The Catie's Closet Ambassador program offers leadership opportunities for teens while helping students in need. This is excellent volunteer experience to add to college applications or job resumes!
As an Ambassador, you will be responsible for two projects during the school year. These projects will allow you to gain valuable leadership experience while supporting Catie’s Closet’s mission and programs.
- Host a Clothing Drive and Processing Party and
Catie’s Closet relies heavily on clothing donations from the community to fill its in-school Closets and SOS packages. When you host a drive and processing party, you will collect new and gently used clothing from your school, friends, family, and community. Then, you will sort the donations by gender and size to help us distribute urgently needed clothing to students in a timely manner.
- Lead an Impact Project
Choose one of the following or create your own project:
Host an additional drive with a sorting event. Consider a fun collection competition or make a student-to-student impact by purchasing new outfits with our holiday tags.
Engage your school in art or writing projects that benefit our students. We provide you with prompts and cards to invite your class, grade or entire school to write notes or make art that will help encourage students in need.
Run a fundraiser at your school or in the community. Let your creativity and leadership shine!
Lead your school to serve as an Our School Cares partner.
