About the Springfield Preservation Trust
The Springfield Preservation Trust works to preserve, protect, and promote properties in Springfield, Massachusetts that have architectural, historic, educational, or cultural significance for public edification and enjoyment.
Founded in 1972 by concerned residents responding to the loss of historic buildings, the Trust has served for over 50 years as Springfield’s only non-profit, non-government advocate dedicated solely to historic preservation. Today, we continue to be a voice for preservation and invite new leaders to help guide the future of this work.
