The Jack Rome 5K is our biggest fundraising event of the year! This superhero-themed event begins at 11am and goes until 3pm, but there's a lot of setup and breakdown, along with a ton of jobs in between-ranging from check in to fun-station attendants!
We are looking for volunteers to help with:
- setup (moving tables to decorating tents to arranging tshirts to putting up lawn signs throughout the venue)
- registration check in (which will be a seated job using a tablet or checking names off a list)
- parking attendants
- vendor attendants (directing them where to go)
- Superhero station attendants (monitoring mask and cape customizing station for kids, photos with characters area)
- Water station attendants (along the 5k route handing out water, filling cups)
- Fun station attendants (dance zone station-high energy, fuel-up zone, possible obstacle course zone)
- Breakdown & clean up
